| Details: | Sign Up 3 day class If you are wanting to try your hand at sewing for the first time or if you are a rusty seamstress that would like a refresher, this is the class for you! Whether you’re interested in garment or drapery sewing, wanting to make household or baby items, aspiring to become a quilter or just wanting to make fun craft projects, the foundational skills taught in this three-day course are essential to any type of sewing. You will build your skills step-by-step through sewing a series of 9 projects. You will choose from a variety of pre-cut fabrics for the first few projects so you can focus on learning the art of sewing and developing good sewing habits. Then you will learn rotary cutting techniques and how to cut out using a pattern and scissors. Most of your time will be spent sewing although there will be a few short lectures throughout the day. There will be lots of time for asking questions and one-on-one help to get over all the beginning sewist’s (or rusty sewist’s) “jams”. Projects made in class:
