Class - Zip It Up! - Make a Zipper Clutch Bag
Join this 3-hour class and make a fun clutch bag with a zipper! You will learn the technique of inserting a conventional zipper which can be used in clothing and craft projects. Geared for a confident beginner with basic experience operating a sewing machine.
You will need to bring/purchase the following items before the class. If you want to purchase your materials the same day as the class, please come when the shop opens at 9:30.
- Purse Accessories Pattern
- 1/4 yard or fat quarter of fabric for bag (use a range of fabrics from quilting cotton to drapery weight blends)
- 1/4 yard or fat quarter of coordinating lightweight fabric for lining and zipper binding
- Thread(s) to match both main fabric and lining
- 9" conventional zipper
