How to Sew a Garment without an Instruction Guide

This is a follow-up class for the Tracing a Garment class in which you will learn how to sew together the garment that you made a pattern for. In this 5-hour class we will demystify how all the pieces come together and the order in which they should be sewn. We will begin with a lecture on how to figure out how the garment should be constructed by studying the ready-made garment that the pattern was made from, followed by a sewing session in which you can begin to construct the garment. Unless your garment is very simple, you will need to finish sewing it at home, but you will take with you the knowledge that you need to complete it.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Basic sewing skills required. You will need to be familiar with operating a sewing machine, and have a working understanding of the basics of sewing.
