You will be piecing and machine quilting one unit of the Got Scraps? quilt in class. You’ll be able to go home and make more units to enlarge it to make a runner or quilt of any size if you desire. Choose to make the two-fabric Less Than Traditional pattern rather than the Got Scraps? variation if you prefer.
Supplies needed for Got Scraps?:
Less than Traditional small size tool kit (pattern is inside)
The Less than Traditional book is optional but detailed and helpful
16 different 4 ¼" squares of fabric for the class (for a 41 x 41 baby quilt like the sample in the store you'll need 256 squares total)
Four 7 ¾" squares of solid or "solidish" fabric for the class(for a 41 x 41 baby quilt like the sample in the store you'll need 64 squares total which is just under 3 yards of fabric)
You won't need to bring batting to the class (we supply it). In order to make quilt, you will need to buy either 2 crib size fusible battings for the baby quilt (or 1 queen size batting will be enough for 2 baby quilts)
Thread to blend with the 4 ¼" squares and another thread to match your solid fabric
An extra bobbin
Rotary cutter (we will supply the mat)
Pins
